Accident Benefits Legal Assistant

Jaida Egboye joined GBLV Law in June 2025 and works as an accident benefits legal assistant to Elvis Viskovic.

Jaida is a recent LLB (honours) graduate from the University of Leicester. Upon graduation, she will be completing her NCA qualifying exams. During law school, she served on Black Law Student Association (BLSA) Canada as an Advocacy Member and was a volunteer for SCAGO Ontario. During her time in law school, she summered at premier law firms in London, England.

Prior to Law School, she attended Queen’s University and earned her Bachelors of Arts in Sociology and received a certificate in law. During her undergraduate degree, she was extremely active in her community and served in many roles. She was Co-President and Founder of Queen’s Black Fashion Association, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Manager for the Sociology Council, Equity Diversity Student Programmer for Yellow House, Logistic Coordinator for Smith Black Business Association and Equity Ambassador for Queen’s Undergraduate Admissions.

Jaida prides herself on being an advocate for those who feel like they have no voice.
