Associate Lawyer | J.D.
Zoriana is a litigation associate with GBLV LLP, after having joined the firm in 2017 as an Articling Student. Her practice focuses primarily on the areas of plaintiff personal injury litigation, including complex bodily injury and casualty claims, motor vehicle claims, commercial and general liability claims, occupier liability, and multi-party litigation. She also handles employment law matters, WSIB and CPP appeals, and contractual disputes.
Zoriana has carriage of files before the Superior Court of Justice, Small Claims Court, and the Social Security Tribunal of Canada. Her experience allows her to efficiently recognize and analyze issues, risks, and exposure through all phases of the litigation process.
While in law school, Zoriana developed a passion for litigation while participating in two competitive moots and a negotiation competition. She has legal work experience from both the private and public sectors, including various non-profits, legal clinics, and government agencies. She was also actively involved in student life on campus, and continues to be involved in her community.
